:: FIVE-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN ::

REDEVELOPMENT UPDATE:

As of February 1, 2012, all redevelopment agencies in the State of California were dissolved per legislation enacted in 2011.  Each redevelopment agency has what is known as a Successor Agency to finish redevelopment activities in-progress.  The information below is provided so the public is aware of what the Calimesa Redevelopment Agency was doing to improve the economy and quality of life in the City before this tool was eliminated.

State law requires redevelopment agencies that were created prior to December 31, 1994, to adopt Five-Year Implementation Plans. The City's current Plan, adopted in late 2005 and identified as the 2005-2009 Implementation Plan, includes the following primary goals:

Goal No. 1: Encourage and aid economic development in the Project areas.

Goal No. 2: Implement infrastructure and circulation system improvements which benefit the Project areas.

Goal No. 3: Increase, improve, and preserve the quality of low/moderate housing throughout the community.
